Buffalo NY On Monday, November 9, 2020, Julious Canty "Red Eye", companion of Rebecca Frazier, departed this life at the Buffalo General Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. Born on November 11, 1945, in the Jordan Community of Manning, he was a son of the late Robert "Bobcat" and Ruth Mack Cantey. Graveside services will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 12 :00 noon from the Cantey family plot located in the Society Hill A.M.E. Church Cemetery, 1030 Morello Rd., Jordan Community of Manning, where the Rev. Eloise C. Pompey, Associate Minister of the Macedonia Baptist Church, Bloomville Community, Manning, will preside. The Rev. Nathaniel Kendrick, pastor of the Society Hill A.M.E. Church, will officiate. Public viewing will take place on Friday, November 20, 2020, during the hours of 4:00pm-6:00pm from the Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 West Boyce St., Manning. In accordance with the requirements given by the CDC in reference to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is not receiving relatives and friends at the residence.
